Remember, before you apply for an Adsense account: add at least 10 useful posts in your blog.

The second choice is to get your own domain.

I personally prefer to have my own sites.

There are many benefits of having one’s own site.

Buying a site can cost approximately $100 to $300+ per Year.

No matter what option you choose, a free blog or your own site, some things are common for both.

The most important thing is to add excellent/Useful content in your site/blog.

And yes, your site needs to get lot of traffic in order for you to start making money.

Remember a simple formula: Organic Traffic = $$$$.

And to get Organic Traffic, You need to add lot of Useful Content in your site.

The best source of free traffic are the search engines. You will get all the traffic that you need from the search engines if your site has Informative Content.

Most of the traffic comes from Google, Yahoo and Bing.

To get traffic from search engines, you will need to do search engine optimization for your site. If you don’t know how to do SEO, then you can learn by yourself or you can hire someone from freelance sites to do this.
