Yesterday I saw a comment in one of my blogs where a person asked that he wanted to know if there is any place on the internet [other than the freelancing sites] where she can get free online jobs. So I thought I should clear up few things for the users.
The reason why she asked for any other place, where she can join for free and get online jobs, was that she find it really difficult to win projects at freelance sites. In fact she was not able to win even one project.
This is why she asked this question:
The main reason why people quit working at freelance site is because they actually do not get any work at all.
The most difficult thing to do at freelance sites is to win your first project. This is not an easy task. Sometimes, people do get lucky enough to win their first project in quick time but for most of the new people, winning the first project is extremely difficult.
You should remember one very important thing:
Freelance sites are the only place where you will get lot of free online jobs like data entry, copywriting etc. There may be other sites on the internet too where you might get few jobs but you cannot make much money at such sites.
At freelance sites you will see hundreds of online jobs being posted everyday. People can even make living via working at freelance sites.
The other sites where you can get free online jobs include: forums, revenue sharing sites etc. Keep in mind that there are many scams on the internet too.
Many sites promise to give you lots of jobs but you first need to pay some kind of fee. These aren’t free online jobs and most probably such sites are just scams.
So freelance sites are the best place to work and in case you find it difficult to win your first project, then I suggest you seek help in this forum.
