In the past, writers needed to have at least one rating star in order to get upfront payments for the article they submitted in Helium. Today: Helium has changed this rule and now, writers no longer need to gain a rating star in order to qualify for upfront payments.
A rating star is gain via simply rating other articles at Helium.
This is not the only change made by Helium: there are some other changes too.
