Which Online Job To Choose: Copywriting Or Data Entry?

First of all, if you have some knowledge in any programming language, then you should get programming related jobs on the internet. And in case you have no knowledge in any programming field then you can consider doing data entry or copywriting jobs online.

Which job pays more: Data Entry or Copywriting?

Copywriting work pays much more money than data entry work. In fact, copywriting jobs are considered to be one of the highest paying jobs that one can get on the internet.

Normal rate of doing copywriting work at freelance sites is about $5 per 500 words. So for writing 500 words, one can easily make $5 or even more. Some copywriting jobs pay more than $5 per 500 words.

Pay pretty much depends on the type of content that one needs to write. For writing content for websites, pay will be very good.

On the other hand, data entry jobs pay is somewhere around $1 to $2 for one hour work. This pay is pretty much the lowest possible money that one can earn online.

If there are copywriting jobs available at freelance sites, then why would we do cheap data entry work?

Unfortunately, not everybody is capable of doing copywriting jobs. For such work, one needs to write content in proper English. No spelling mistakes are allowed plus one have to use proper grammar.

Content in perfect grammar is not needed but at least the grammar needs to be ok.

Not all people can write content in proper English so for them, the only choice left will be to do data entry work.

Which work is easy: Data Entry or Copywriting?

Actually both are easy to do jobs but I would say that copywriting work is much easier than data entry work. In data entry category, there are jobs that need lot of time to complete.

The main problem with data entry jobs is that they quite are easy to do but a lot of time is required to complete them. Time is money: but in data entry work we do not earn the money which we deserve in terms of the time we spent on these jobs.
