Do you have some problem at SL and to solve this problem, you wish to contact SL support?
You have gone to the page that says “Contact” or “Contacting Scriptlance”, but there, you were unable to find any form to file a ticket or you don’t see a link that can take you to the Help Desk?
A user sent a private message to me and asked this question. So I thought why not write about it here so that other people who have the same problem can see what the solution is.
Like many other sites, SL also faces a problem of getting too many support queries about the things that are already answered in FAQs section of the site. Users do not search for the answer in FAQs, instead, they just want to directly contact the support staff.
This can be a very frustrating problem for people sitting at SL support Desk. Seeing very basic questions is one thing: but seeing these basic questions that SL already has answered in FAQs is something else. This can be really annoying for SL support.
If you are a new or old user at SL: then please remember one thing:
Whenever you have any kind of problem at SL or at any other freelance site, then the first thing to do is to search for a possible solution/answer in FAQs section. Easier thing to do is to use the search feature given in the site to find the solution.
Freelance site’s support staff answers the questions that are basic: or the questions they are asked by so many people, and that the answer is same for all, that is why the support personal adds the common answer in the FAQs section of the site.
But if you believe that solution to your problem is not mentioned in FAQs or anywhere else in the site: then here is how you can reach SL Help Desk;
Open “Contact” page: then click on “Check the FAQs”: then click on “Browse Scriptlance FAQs”. Here, I suggest you first take a look at all the given answers.
You did not find the solution to your problem in these answers?
Then scroll down until you see “Didn’t find an answer… Contact Support Staff”. This is where you will find a form that you can use to contact SL support personal. On this page, members of SL need to click on “Members: Login to Support Desk”, this will open help desk where members can add tickets.
I personally think that the reason why SL has placed the link to “Contact Us” page, deep in the site is that: SL wants users to first see the already answered questions. This will help users to find answers quickly and this will result in less people contacting SL support and asking the same question again and again.
