In the past: I have mentioned so many times in my sites that Gold Members do not pay any project fee. They just pay Gold membership fee which was $12 for quite a while: but now this fee is increased to $19.95.
The main attraction was the number of bids that one got to place on projects each month and the second thing was that: they did not pay any fee for doing online jobs at GAF other than paying the gold membership fee.
But now, things have changed. Normal users now get to place double amount of bids compared to the number of bids that they used to get in the past.
And now, gold members also have to pay 3% fee for doing any job at GAF where normal users have to pay 10% [or $5, whichever is greater] fee per project.
So basically, the change which is noticeable is that Gold Members no longer have the benefit of doing online jobs for free. In the past, they could win as many projects as possible in a month and they do not had to pay any fee to GAF for winning each project. This is no longer possible.
