Majority of freelance sites have an affiliate program [AP] where webmasters can earn money via referring people to these sites. Commission structure at these sites is different:
I wish all sites have an AP where we are paid for the number of registrations. And off course, these registrations will be legit.
Unfortunately, these sites do not like this idea because of few different reasons: like: such AP will result in lot of spam registration.
Spammers will try to make money via sending fake visitors to these sites. These fake users will register too but these registrations will also be fake: which will bring no good for the site.
Just like this, there are other reasons why FSs do not have an AP where we get money for the number of registrations.
However, there is just one site that currently is offering such an AP. freelance(dot)co(dot)uk [Update: Elance and Odesk are two more sites that are currently paying based on the number of Registrations: but note that certain conditions are applied]
Few weeks back, FCU decided to stop free registrations because of which we could not earn much money.
Just recently, they have changed this rule and they are now again paying their affiliate partners for Free and Legit Registrations.
This is just one site that I know is offering such an affiliate program.
