Now you can see PM Notification on every page at GAF

You remember my previous post regarding the same topic?

In that post, I wrote about the news which I saw at GAF: in which it was mentioned that soon, they will introduce a new mailing system in their site. At that time, GAF did not mentioned any details about what exactly was this new system but in that previous post, I assumed about a possible change that we may see.

And hey, you know what: my assumption was 100% correct. I mentioned that they may put a PM [Private Message] alert on all pages of their site so that the service-providers and buyers can get instant notification about any new PM that they receive.

Go check GAF after you login. You will now see an icon and a label “Inbox”, at the Top-Right corner of every page of the site. Mine currently says “0” as I haven’t communicated with any buyers or service-providers in a long time.

I personally always wanted this system as it will help us a lot. In freelancing, replying to PMs faster is very important.

With this system, communication will become faster and efficient.

One last thing: I recently got an Email from GAF that said something like: “Testing” : )

I guess GAF sent this test email to lot of other users too: just to make sure this system works correctly.
