Avoid doing Jobs where there is no Communication from the Buyer

Doing Free Online Jobs without any Communication

In the previous post, I explained how I got a job at a freelance site where the buyer did not reply to my Private Message [PM]: instead, he selected me as the winner of the project. There was absolutely no communication between me and the buyer and I was surprised to have won a job in such a manner.

Anyway, I had very few ratings at that time and I was quite desperate to earn one more rating for my profile: therefore, I decided to do the job even though the buyer told me no details before awarding me the project.

Like I mentioned in the previous post, I am not going to do a job again where there is no proper communication with the buyer. The buyer who gave me the work was a legit buyer but this does not mean that we should all accept jobs where buyer simply choose us as the winner and send no details about the work.

You should not take any risks: you have to make sure that you are capable of doing the work 100% correctly for the buyer. And this is only possible when you and buyer will communicate with each other. Ask the buyer to give you all the details: talk about all the terms and conditions set by the buyer.

You need to make sure that you will be able to complete the job successfully: and in case of an unsuccessful/incomplete job, you will get a bad rating which can end a new comer’s freelance career.

So my advice to all users will be to never accept a job where buyer has not explained all the details. First confirm that you can do the work and only then should you accept the job.
