Update: Unfortunately, this good news did not last for long. Today, I saw news about PayPal allowing GAF to send money to Indian users. But this news was removed very quickly and GAF posted another message that they cannot process withdrawals via PP to Indian Users. Another update stated that PP has told GAF to read updates in PP blog. This means that people living in India can still Not Use PP to get their money from GAF.
Few days back, I posted about the halted personal payments by PayPal to or from India. In that post, I mentioned that PayPal still allows business payments but these the payments which are done for buying/selling goods/services.
The users of GAF are getting paid for doing services for buyers but the payments made by GAF to these users were also reversed by PayPal.
Many people including me thought that the payments sent by GAF to users in India are business payments and not personal payments: so why are their payments reversed?
Today, GAF has posted an update on this issue stating that PP has allowed GAF to make payments to the users in India.
This is a great news for many people who were waiting in India to get their money via PP.
