Is it just me or GAF really is working slow?
From the past few months, I am noticing that GAF is loading very slowly and sometimes, it does not load at all. As we all know, GAF is a big freelance site so it means that this site will have fast and big servers at the back end.
So it should load fast but that is not happening for me so I thought may be something is wrong with my PC or may be the internet connection has some issues. But it looks like my PC and internet connection are working just fine.
Nowadays, I am not doing online jobs at GAF and that I only check my affiliate stats and news updates, few times a day. So that is why, I never gave much attention to this slow loading site time.
Today, 17 February 2010, at around 10:00 AM, Pakistan local time, I saw an error while opening GAF:
Error occurred
Server is currently under high load …………
I re-checked the site after an hour and all was good then.
For a freelance site, downtimes can create problems for its users. People who are doing online jobs at GAF can suffer a lot.
Also, if the site really is loading slowly, then that is only not good.
I guess it is time to send a request to GAF to check if their site has some slow loading issues : )
Update: I am trying again and again to open GAF but I am continuously seeing the above mentioned error.
But there was a change in the error message I see: now we can see GAF logo along with the error message : )
