In the beginning of the current year, 2010, Indian users were quite disappointed to hear that PayPal has decided to stop all personal payments to India: business payments were still allowed but unfortunately, freelancers who were living in Indian, failed to withdraw their money for some time:

Then I saw a news at FL that they have talked to PP officials and that PP has allowed them to send money to their users: but just after some time, that news vanished and FL posted an update that users should keep an eye on PP official blog: all the payments that FL sent were bounced back:

After some time, I saw an update according to which, Indian users would be able to use PP once again from the month of March: but users will be required to do some more verifications:

After this, things got normal. The only thing was to do some more verification and to use the Purpose Code: this was not much of a problem:
But then recently, PP stopped all electronic withdraws to India: this meant that Indian users could not request to withdraw money to their bank accounts: the only option was to get the cash via cheque:

But then after few days, PP posted an update in their blog: this update made lot of people Happy : )
According to this update: PP started to send Indian User’s money to their bank accounts once again:

But then I wondered whether this issue had been solved permanently or not?
Few days later, FL posted this good news in their site and also mentioned that PP successfully negotiated with RBI to get 2 months extension for allowing electronic fund transferring:
