Is there any Currency Conversion when Withdrawing Money from Freelance Sites? I live in USA

There is one freelancing site where multiple currencies are supported: On the other hand, majority of the freelance sites only support one currency which is US Dollar. They do not deal in any currency other than $.

Now, as US Dollar is an international currency, users in USA have lot of benefits: one of which is that they do not have to worry about currency conversion when they wish to withdraw their money from freelance sites.

The reason is simple: all major freelance sites use US Dollar as their main and, in most cases, the only supported currency. All you need to do is to request withdrawal of your money via any of the available payment processors:

Users in USA can choose to use PayPal, Moneybookers, Payoneer Debit Card etc. Your money will first be transferred to your preferred payment processor and then it will get transferred to your bank account or Debit Card [depending on which payment processor are you using].

There isNo currency conversion involved: unlike the users in USA, service providers who live in other countries have to worry about currency conversion as they live in a country where US Dollar is not their local currency. Another problem faced by these users is the unavailability of different payment processors in their country.

So, if you live in USA: then there is not much for you to worry about : )

You just need to earn money at freelance sites and then choose the best payment processor to get your money: there is no currency conversion for you : )
