Few years back, GAF had the best freelancing affiliate program on the internet. They were offering extremely high payouts.
Following are few things that were offered in the past:
100% commission from the fee that is taken from all users that we refer.
We received payouts for unlimited time period.
We also used to get commission when someone upgraded to gold membership.
These benefits are all so cool and attractive: one cannot debate about the awesomeness of their old affiliate offers.
Unfortunately, things have changed: they have made unbelievable changes in their rules: see for yourself:
Commission rate was reduced to 90%: this is absolutely ok: but I now understand that: they have kept a high payout just to hide another shocking change : )
Commissions are now given for only 3 MONTHs …???
And hear this: We no longer get any kind of commission if a user pays for gold membership ??
New comers can take 1 day or month, even year to start working at freelance sites. I personally started to earn money after 6 or so months of registration. Only few users are able to earn money quickly after registration.
Even if all the users which I refer start earning very quickly, it is still no-where near being ok. How many projects can new comer complete in 3 months? Answer = Very Few
Hear this: most of the new comers first earn 30 dollars and then they stop doing any more jobs. They first want to withdraw their money to see how they will get it and some users do this to make sure that they will always get their money from these sites.
Withdrawing funds for the first time can take 2 months or more.
So basically, with this 3 months limit, you can assume that GAF affiliate program is now paying nothing to their partners.
I personally am Very disappointed as I used to like this site a lot and I have sent 65 Thousand users to this site and now after 5 or 6 years of hard work, I am getting no money from my Referrals.
This is quite disappointing…
