Keyword density is a term mostly used when we talk about article writing or writing content for websites.
Keyword density is the number of times a specific word or phrase appears in content.
[Please note: If you are writing articles for your own Website then I will suggest that you never worry about density of keywords. Write Useful and Informative content for your site Visitors: Keywords will come in the content naturally.
The only reason I am writing this Article about Keyword Density is that, users who are working at Freelancing Sites will often win projects where they are required to write articles with predefined keyword density. Lot of buyers will ask you to use a given keyword XX times in the content]
For example: let’s say that, you have to write an article on a given topic. The article length should be 500 words and topic is “Data Entry”. You need to have a 1% keyword density.
Mostly the topic of the article will be the Main keyword. So our keyword in this case is “Data Entry”.
It means that you have to use this keyword in the article for a specific number of times in order to produce 1% keyword density.
How many times do you have to use this keyword to get 1% keyword density?
Answer = 1% * 500
Or
Answer = 1/100 *500
Answer = 0.01 *500
Answer = 5
So according to this simple calculation, you need to use this keyword five times in article to get a 1% keyword density.
