I recently downloaded and installed FireFox 3. FF3 looks ok:
Occasionally, all the windows got closed but I guess this does not happens all the time.
But there was one serious problem which I discovered after 3 days [I am glad to find this].
After I add a new post in any of my blogs, I do not open the post to check if everything is ok. When I started blogging, I used to check the newly added posts but I no longer do it.
After using FF3 for like 3 days, I by chance saw one of my posts containing this code at the top of its content:
“<!– /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:”"; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:”Times New Roman”; mso-fareast-font-family:”Times New Roman”;} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} –>”
I was pretty much shocked to see such thing appearing in the post.
I at once deleted this code from that post and started investigating other posts. After some time, I discovered that all the posts which were added after I started to use FF3 had this code at the very top. One can see this code if you are use the Code View for posts.
If you paste your content from Microsoft Word in your WordPress directly then this code will automatically added.
I am not sure why this happens in FF3 [in FF2 there was no such problem].
Solution 1 for this problem:
First paste your content in notepad and then copy the content from notepad into your WordPress post.
Solution 2 for this problem:
After you paste the content in your post from Microsoft word, click on “Toggle Full screen Mode”. Here you will be able to see the code being displayed at the very top. You can delete the code then click again on “Toggle Full screen Mode”.
