Google cannot remove personal Attack/Targeted Pages

Matt Cutts talked about a very important thing in his blog. There are many people who complain to Google about WebPages that contain content which is targeted towards someone.

For example: someone may make a page about Person A. This someone may add bad content in the page. Like: Person A is a scammer or spammer and that, Person A is a thief or Person A is [Some bad language being used].

When Person A will see this offensive page, he/she will not be so happy about it. He/she will most probably contact that someone who made the page, but off course, that someone will not [in most cases] remove the page.

Person A will then contact Search Engines like Google, and will ask them to do a favor of removing the offensive page from their index.

Matt Cutts talked about such cases and said that, Google cannot remove offensive pages from their index. People, who complain to Google, should file a case against that someone if they think that someone is breaking the law.

If court orders to remove the page, only then Google will remove the page.

Google remove pages from their index if they contain spam. Matt Cutts said that, Google cannot remove any other page [other than spam] unless a court orders such removal.

Going in courts will take so much time and resources. So the best thing to do will be to contact the person who created the page and request to remove it.
