Recently, I was browsing the internet when I came across a very useful page. This page was the Guidelines for website or website owners to help them index in Bing SERPs. In these guidelines, lot of useful stuff is written: but something special caught my eye.
According to Bing Guidelines, a normal HTML webpage should have a size not more than 150KB. This file size is defined for pages that do not have images in it. Bing guidelines have mentioned an HTML page: as html is what SE bots see. Your site may have PHP or other kind of code too but as SE bots cannot see them, the code size does not matter as long as it is not too long to make the server give some error.
So any page [.html, .php, .asp etc without images] should not have a HTML code [code that is visible in the source or the code that SE bots can see] size should not reach more than 150 KB.
