It has been raining continuously for like 5 days and today at around 10:30 AM [local Pakistan Time], residents of Abbottabad were glad to see some snow in their city. I can’t remember the last time when it snowed : ) I think there was no snow, at least in the past few winters.
Weather in ABT is normally cold but before the current rain rampage, weather was quite warm and dry because there was no rain for like 3-4 months. That resulted in a much warmer weather and people forgot about the cold temperature which ABT usually has during this part of the year.
Number of cars on roads is quite decreased and very less people are heading to the markets. It looks like people are preferring to spend much of their time inside their homes just like me : )
Today’s snow was a pleasant gift : )
Usually, snow only falls in ABT once a year and sometimes, we see no snow. But I have not seen continues snowing in ABT for more than one day.
Currently, the weather is very cold and moisture level is high. Outside, there is lot of fog and visibility level is very low.
Today’s snowing lasted for only few minutes.
