KASB Direct: I cannot see the Buy Option under Order Menu

I am using KASB Direct software to do live trading at KSE. Just recently, I wanted to buy few shares but I was surprised to not see the Buy option under the Order menu. I could only see an option to sell shares but there was no buying option.

Anyway, I contacted KASB Direct support and ask for the reason. The support personal told me that I had not submitted the New CDC Form. All users who have not submitted the new CDC form and are trading online via KASB Direct software [and I think all users who may be using other company’s software] can no longer buy new shares in any company.

Such users can still sell the shares which they might have bought in the past, but there is no buying of new shares allowed for them.

I guess it’s time for me to fill up that form and send it to KASB : )
