According to many people, PTCL is becoming a really unreliable internet service provider : (
In the title of this article, you can see the date: 18th June 2010: but this was only one day when the internet service was down all day. Other than this, users are also seeing lot of, few hour downtimes, quite often.
I personally am also seeing lot of downtimes with PTCL broadband. It is quite annoying when your internet works for few minutes, then it starts to slow down, then it only opens some of the pages and then it takes minutes to load pages and finally, the Internet light from the device vanishes.
On the said date, PTCL internet service was down for almost one day.
We have two PTCL numbers: one is used only for DSL service and the other one is used for three of PTCL services. I use the one with just DSL and the other one is used by my brother. So if you think that these problems are related to my phone line or my PC, then that is not correct.
When the internet stops to work, I ask my brother to check if his device is showing the internet light or not and also ask him if he had the same issues that I had.
And also, many other users are complaining about these downtimes too.
I hope PTCL will soon solve this issue:
