Red Alert: Where is the Special Ability Button?

This will be a very basic question for most of the people but for the ones like me, who has not played much of the past red alert games, finding very simple things in this game can be a real problem.

In one of the tutorials, I failed to find what prospector is. That is when I also wanted to find where the special ability key/icon is. In that tutorial, I got to know that pressing the F key will invoke the special ability feature: but I failed to invoke anything when I was in the middle of the tutorial. That was because no building had any special ability in that particular tutorial.

Anyway, click on a vehicle or building. Now on the bottom right side of the screen, you will see a small black box that will have the name/picture of the vehicle or building. On the left side of the picture, you can see a big icon: this is the special ability button.

If this area is not clickable, then it means that the vehicle/building does currently have no active *special-abilities [*SAs]. You can also use the F key to invoke *SAs.
