When you post an article in your blog or add a comment, your nickname or the Public name is shown to the visitors. Normally, this name is,
Admin
Or
Administrator
Do you want to change this? May be display your real name?
To do this, login in WordPress Admin Panel and look at the top right corner and click on your current nickname and then on Your Profile link.
Now here you will see this:
Nickname (required)
In front of this heading, you will see a box which will contain your current display name. Remove it and enter your desired name.
Now look at the option below, it will say something like this:
Display name publicly as
After you fill-in the first box, this second Check-Box will automatically contain your newly entered display name. Choose it and then click on Update Profile.
Now your new nickname will be shown to all users.
