Like many people, I was too, one of Flock users. I have used it for like years. I used to open all my important webpages in Flock and to do the normal work I was using Firefox. I simply loved Flock for so much time.
But then I slowly started to realize that Flock is not updated as fast as I may want it to. There were plugins that would not run in Flock: there were new features added in Firefox that would take so much time to integrate in Flock etc etc
The end result was that I decided to no longer use Flock: this happened few months back and then few weeks later, I received an email stating that:
Flock Support has been Discontinued
Meaning that the Flock Team will not release any new versions of this browser and no security or other updates will be made. This means that it’s the end of the road for Flock.
With no new security updates, it is highly recommended to all users to either start using Chrome or use Firefox or use any other browser.
Browser has to be updated continuously especially, the security updates are important for all users. So if you are a Flock Fan, then I guess the time has come to say goodbye to this excellent browser and start using another browser.
Flock team has made a great browser and have put in so much effort and they succeeded in providing an excellent browser for the world. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Flock is now History : )
